Endeavor is a wedding videographer workshop catered for audio and movement. Endeavor made its debut in May of 2022. It was hosted in Manzanita, OR and marketed as an Oregon Destination focused workshop. As my first time being an official videographer workshop host, it was a true honor to bring this community together!

Mission Statement:

Endeavor is a destination workshop for Wedding Videographers to find a genuine community striving to further their businesses and wedding films.

Here’s what some of the attendees had to say about our workshop!

“The whole experience was incredible. Alesia was so willing to accommodate people’s needs and cared about getting to know us. She spared no expense with a super dreamy AirBnB and delicious snacks!! Alesia put SO much thought, care, and effort into every single one of our shoots and was able to help direct in any way needed. The group breakdowns were super helpful and she made sure everyone got their shot. If you are thinking about attending the Endeavor workshop in the future, don’t waste a minute, just do it! I’m leaving with a full EPIC portfolio to take to my couples.”@alysonmarievisuals

“This workshop was everything I could have Imagined and BETTER!

The content we got was AMAZING and everyone who attended were the kindest people and were truly there to learn and build a community. Being a photographer who’s attended many styled shoots and retreats and switching gears to video was just what I needed to build my portfolio and meet a new community. Alesia put her full heart into this workshop and it truly shows.  All around amazing retreat and experience and will definitely returning and doing more Endeavor workshops!!!!”

“Endeavor was a literal dream! First off the community was AMAZING! Connecting with and learning from fellow videographers was so fun, especially since I don’t have many around me back home. The presentations given were so helpful and inspired me to step my game up big time! Lastly, the content was TO DIE FOR! Alesia did such a good job with creating beautiful styled shoots. Obviously there were a lot of vendors used, but the vision Alesia had was spot on and she picked the perfect people to help bring everything to life. 10/10 recommend”@radiantfilmnc

Glamping Shoot Elopement

For this styled shoot, I chose Hug Point State Park next to Cannon Beach, OR. It’s a wide beach with plenty of space for a wedding videographer workshop. It was perfect for our glamping tent set up and it has a lot of surrounding sea stack rocks to provide shade and that classic rocky Oregon coast vibe.

This styled shoot was meant to be Boho, Baby’s Breath and Breathtaking!

Our model rocked a lace fringe dress — perfect for a wedding videographer’s workshop. Her hair braid had baby’s breath to match the baby’s breath tent design and we paired it with white leather boots to give it that modern boho vibe. The groom wore a bright orange tux and the bride’s bouquet had pops of orange to match! Finally, Gather with Mimi got to style the baby’s breath entrance with extra pillows and linens to give it more of that beachy boho camping vibe we all love. Plus, an extra sweetheart table for the two to enjoy snacks and champagne throughout the shoot.

Beach Caves Elopement

This styled shoot was focused on LGBTQ+ models and using the landscapes as our main focus. Wedding videographer workshops are scarce, so finding a workshop prioritizing LGBTQ+ and BIPOC models are even scarcer. This was something very important to me as a workshop host. I wanted my wedding videographers workshop to be fully inclusive and highlighting the destination.

This styled shoot was happening simultaneously to our Glamping shoot but on the other end of Hug Point State Park. This made it easy for our groups to switch back and forth and do 2 Elopement styled shoots in one evening. But on this end of the park, we had beach caves, a forest walk to a cliff and a waterfall!

We loved this shoot with our Live Singer vendor and our model’s outfits. Dan and Ish rocked the same suits they wore for their own elopement just last October. We loved it so much we asked them to wear it again! Miriam, our live singer, got to perform some Spanish songs during the ceremony and even sang extra songs for videographers who requested her to sing afterwards for their films. Again, something we prioritized as a wedding videographer workshop – audio!

Editoral Bridal Shoot

THIS WAS AN AWESOME SHOOT to surprise the attendees with! Everyone was promised 3 styled shoots but I decided last minute to add this on to give the videographers a fun exercise. And the backyard of our airbnb just happened to be a meadow of beach grass before hitting the sand and the ocean — it was pretty perfect. The point of this shoot was to practice their creativity with portraiture. I told them to prioritize their hair, makeup, dress and jewelry details as well as thinking outside the box for poses. Of course, my BTS photographer killed it and got the most beautiful portraits of our models!

Garden Party Wedding

This was the most anticipated shoot for the super trendy “Garden Party” vibes, the ruffled fairytale dress and twinkle light tunnel. To make this the most realistic-looking wedding for all of the videographers, I asked everyone to follow a formal “beige” dress code to mimic guests so that one by one, the videographers could get wide shots of the dinner making it look like a real wedding! It was actually so much better than I imagined. We even had people stand up and tell a story to make it look like they were giving a toast! Despite the rain storm on our last day for this shoot, everyone was in high spirits and got amazing content. Huge shoutout to the plan/design + floral team for sticking it out in the rain and wind for us!

Overall, this workshop was a dream come true. It was so much fun to spend our time in a beautiful airbnb, get to talk gear and editing with fellow wedding videographers, and make all the IG reels + tiktok content with one another!

And now, we’re officially counting down to our next workshop in Lahaina, Maui in January 2023. Stay tuned for even more killer designs, rockstar vendors and enthusiastic attendees!
