Gianna and Jamie Jackson held a one of a kind California winery wedding with editorial flair and party vibes!

Gianna being a wedding planner & designer herself, she chose Pacheco Ranch Winery as their venue because of that “clean slate” potential. It allowed her team to work their magic and make a California winery wedding based around Gianna’s italian roots and Jamie’s southern roots. With a gorgeous table design, home made bbq sauces, a photo backdrop, a car bar, photo booth and a crazy fun dance floor — everyone had the most amazing time! We asked Gianna and Jamie a couple questions about it and this is what they had to say!

How did you two meet?

We met the classic millennial way — tinder. Well not entirely. Back in 2016 I moved to Alabama to live with a couple of my girlfriends and to take a break from California and one night while riding around, my friend showed me she had matched with her mom’s ex boyfriend’s son as a joke. When she showed me him I thought he was the most handsome man ever and definitely made her be my wingwoman. In typical millennial fashion, we added each other on social media, then talked for about a month over meaningless snapchats, small talk dms and the occasional “What are you up to?” text messages. We finally made a plan after those few weeks to meet in person and Jamie drove down 3.5 hours to see me. We officially “met” at a bar in downtown Auburn, Alabama – drank, danced and by the next day we were laughing, sharing stories and watching serial killer documentaries. I knew by the next day he was special. We’ve been together ever since.

How did he propose?

Jamie proposed on my 25th birthday by gifting me a family photoshoot for us and our daughter. We drove out to Point Reyes with the photographer and took a bunch of family shots. Next thing I know, Jamie is on one knee – ring in one hand, our daughter in the other.

Why did you choose Pacheco Ranch Winery as your wedding venue?

We chose Pacheco ranch winery as our wedding venue, because it’s not only gorgeous, but being a wedding planner myself, I love a good blank slate. We love it’s vineyards, Victorian estate and the overall feel is very us.
