How do we book you?

Our booking process is a first come first serve policy.

First, you must schedule an appointment with us to meet over a zoom call. This is an important step so we can start to get to know your personalities, your wedding details, and learn more about what it is you need and dream about for your wedding film. During this call, we'd also pick which package fits your day best, whether it be wedding coverage or full weekend coverage. 

After our call, you make your final decision with whether or not you'd like to hire us. All we need is a confirmation email that says, "We're ready!"

From here, we will make you a contract and invoice. Once all parties sign the contract and the $1000 booking retainer is paid, you are officially on our calendar! 

How do you take payments?

After the booking retainer is paid, our default method is to break up your total in 4 equal payments. These payments are spread out from when you book us up to our deadline which is 2 weeks from your wedding date. 

These 25% payments are simply for convenience. Our invoice system allows an automatic payment set up so you can set it and forget it if you wish. You do not have to pay these if you are unable and would like to pay another way. 

Other methods include paying electronically through the invoice in one lump sum whenever you choose (up until the due date).

Cash or check made out to Alesia Films is also accepted. Our mailing address is listed in our contract together. 

Can we have our full ceremony? Speeches? Raw footage?

Raw footage is not given or sold. 
Full Ceremony films are included in every package.

As you can see from our portfolio, what we make are aesthetic Highlight Films. Documentary Edits are optional or sometimes included in certain packages. DOC edits require us to edit all of the clips from that event in one synced timeline and color graded for your aesthetic viewing.

What is your turnaround time?

Our turnaround time is 3-6 months so we can create you a unique, one of a kind film!

Although, we do make you extra videos in the meantime while you wait for your official film. 

You can expect a Teaser Film within 1-2 weeks of the wedding and a short highlight film of all of the super 8mm footage within 2-3 months (film is based around the lab's turnaround).

Can we use our favorite song for our wedding film?

Unfortunately, due to music and copyright laws, we must purchase the license for all of the music we use in your film. This goes for all wedding videographers. 

Although, unlike other wedding videographers, we allow our couples to choose their own music from our subscribed music licensing site. 

In our final questionnaire form before the wedding, you can select 3-5 songs of the music you think would go well with your film and we'd hand select the best ones that match your footage from there. 

You do not have to pick your own music, you can also allow us to choose for you. Please note that it is in our contract that requests to change music are not allowed. 

Can you do both Videography and Photography?

We do offer bundle deals ONLY IF you haven't hired a photographer yet. You can consider our bundle package to book our entire media team for a seamless client experience.

Hiring one team for both Video and Photo ensures seamless teamwork and a cohesive look with both your gallery and final films. 

This bundle is optional and includes 2 photographers who has trained to be on our team to provide this service. They capture your day with our style and then we take over all of the editing from there.

All communication and editing will be via Alesia no matter what to ensure an easy client experience.
