Along the scenic Rogue River, a Tu Tu’ Tun Lodge wedding is perfect for couples who want a peaceful celebration. Alex and Anthony’s elopement embodied exactly that—slow, romantic, and deeply intentional. With only 2 guests in attendance, their wedding day focused on connection and meaningful moments. The breathtaking landscapes of the Southern Oregon Coast also made their day unforgettable.

For couples planning a Gold Beach Oregon elopement, this day was the perfect example.

This elopement was associate shot for @emilynoellephoto who delivered a private gallery to the couple.

Getting Ready at Tu Tu’ Tun Lodge

One of the most special aspects of Tu Tu’ Tun Lodge is the variety of unique spaces across the property. Alex and Anthony spent the morning getting ready separately, soaking in the quiet beauty of the lodge.

Alex got ready in the main lodge, where warm wood interiors and soft natural light created a calm and cozy atmosphere. Then, Anthony prepared for the day in one of the lodge’s stunning glass cabins. Both surrounded by trees and the sounds of the Rogue River flowing nearby.

The peaceful pace of the morning allowed both of them to fully experience the anticipation of the day.

An Intimate First Look on the Rogue River at Tu Tu’ Tun Lodge

Before leaving the property for their ceremony, Alex and Anthony shared a private first look along the Rogue River. This quiet moment was one of the most emotional parts of their Tu Tu’ Tun Lodge wedding day.

With towering trees and the river gently flowing behind them, they saw each other for the first time without any distractions—just the two of them and the natural beauty of the Oregon Coast.

For many couples planning a Tu Tu’ Tun Lodge elopement, the riverside areas offer some of the most romantic and serene locations for first looks and portraits.

A Gold Beach Overlook Ceremony

After their first look, everyone traveled a short distance to the coast for the ceremony. Their vows took place at a stunning overlook in Gold Beach, where the rugged cliffs of the Southern Oregon Coast met the Pacific Ocean.

With only their three closest friends present, the ceremony felt deeply personal and emotional. The sound of the ocean and endless coastal views created an unforgettable setting for their vows.

For couples dreaming of a Gold Beach Oregon elopement, these dramatic overlooks offer some of the most beautiful ceremony locations on the Oregon Coast.

Sunset Portraits in Gold Beach, OR

There are so many incredible choices to do sunset portraits on the Southern Oregon Coast. Most couples opt for one of the many picturesque beaches in Brookings. Alex and Anthony on the other hand, trusted me when I said, “I know a spot.”

After capturing their initial newlywed portraits at the overlook, we headed towards Pistol River. One of the most scenic viewpoints just south of Gold Beach and a personal favorite of mine for it’s towering rocks.

This quiet pull-off along the highway became the perfect place to slow down and celebrate. The couple set up a simple picnic with cake and champagne, sharing laughs and soaking in the moment with their closest friends.

As the evening unfolded, the Oregon Coast delivered an unforgettable finale—one of the most vibrant purple and red sunsets we’ve ever seen.
