Jenna and Chad transformed the gorgeous wedding venue of Chateau Lill in Woodinville, Washington into a scene of red drapery and romance that we absolutely obsessed over 🥀
As their officiant put it, “It was a classic Romeo and Juliet story. If Juliet were a Kardashian and Romeo wore hemp.”

Why Chateau Lill for your wedding venue?
“It blends PNW with European chateau. I’m not from Washington so I wanted a venue that would really emphasize the PNW. It was also romantic and elevated so it would support our Romeo and Juliet theme.” – Jenna & Chad

Getting Ready at Chateau Lill
Firstly, Jenna & Chad got dressed on site in the His and Hers bridal suites at Chateau Lill. Another, we loved Jenna’s black getting ready robe and the details of her lace dress and sleeve combo.

A Romantic Candle Lit Fireplace Ceremony in Chateau Lill
The original plan for the ceremony was an all-white drapery altar among Chateau Lill’s outdoor greenery by the pond. But, the weather decided to give us her classic PNW rain. With the help of the Your Perfect Bridesmaid team, we shifted indoors. And honestly… it looked like this was always meant to be.
Dozens of candles lined the aisle with red drapery and crystal decor were placed romantically on the large stone fireplace. This ceremony blended seamlessly with their theme. We especially loved the blue neon cross inspired by the 1996 Romeo and Juliet film.

After doing some formal family photos in front of the fireplace, the couple requested to do their vows privately. We decorated this corner with the red couch we used from earlier for their details. Then, we added a floral arrangement on top of a wine barrel for extra decor.

The Cocktail Hour at Chateau Lill
Our couple completely transformed Chateau Lill’s barrel room into a romantic soiree. Drinks, appetizers, live string music and a red drapery wall perfect for a photo op.
We especially loved that the couple had a Signature Mocktail Menu – an ode to their sobriety journey as a couple.

Instead of our original plan of sunset portraits around the vineyards outside, we utilized the empty cocktail hour room. We love how much they popped against this deep red drapery!

Dinner at Chateau Lill
Chateau Lill’s patio area served as a perfect blank slate for Jenna & Chad’s vendor team to completely transform. Red drapery, florals hanging from the chandeliers and hundreds of candles later, they had the most romantic dinner setting.
Lastly, the seating chart wall of tea leaves in a bottle or “poison” in a bottle with everyone’s names on it was a hit!

Reception & Dance Floor
To conclude, the guests were moved back into the Grand Room of Chateau Lill for their first dances in front of the fireplace and their cake cutting! Noted, we loved all of the little reception details the couple had for their guests here including custom match books, custom chocolates and more dessert!

On another note, once the dance floor was in full swing, I let my team capture the party while I stepped back for a creative reset. Next, I made a reception flat lay out of all of their details to remember them by and moved some items around their sweetheart table to create a little bridal photo-op for Jenna. We had been imagining this for months together. Therefore, I genuinely couldn’t have been happier with how both of these turned out!

Vintage Getaway Car Exit
Finally, for our couple’s grand exit, they chose a vintage car to getaway in. With the rain outside, it added a movie-like scene that felt perfect for their wedding day.
