The Love Story Behind J + B’s Redwoods California Wedding
Jerrica and Brittany’s story began in the neuro/trauma ICU, where they worked side by side as friends before realizing their bond was something much deeper. After trying to deny their feelings, they finally gave in and embraced the love that felt so right.
Brittany’s romantic proposal on the coastal bluffs of Mendocino captured their relationship perfectly. She planned a surprise picnic featuring photos of their adventures, candles, and a sign asking, “Marry me?” Despite Jerrica’s skepticism (she thought they were interrupting someone else’s moment!), Brittany got down on one knee and sealed their love story forever with Jerrica’s dream ring. Their proposal perfectly showcased their unique blend of humor, love, and spontaneity.

Jerrica and Brittney’s elopement day began with a peaceful sunrise hike at Secret Beach. This serene location along the Oregon Coast offered a chance to connect with nature before the day’s celebrations began. Accompanied by their dogs, they walked along the rugged coastline, listening to the calls of early-morning birds. Jerrica and Brittany stayed true to their individual styles while preparing for their wedding day. Brittany put a few finishing touches on her wedding vows before donning a crisp white suit. Meanwhile, Jerrica got into her beautiful flowing, lace maxi dress. The couple wore matching white combat boots (an excellent choice for hiking around the Redwood National Forest), and Jerrica added a little extra flair to her wedding look with bold, rainbow socks.
